I’m Not Your Typical Bookkeeper

I approach the profession of bookkeeping through a human services lens which is where I’ve spent the bulk of my professional life. I owned and ran a successful interpreting business for 25 years. Working with a wide diversity of people has always been extremely gratifying for me. 

At the same time, I love detail, organization and brainstorming ways to improve performance and productivity. Working as a consultant for a variety of organizations I have shaped planning and led some fantastic teams to create programs which realized growth that exceeded expectations. I went on to earn a Masters in Business Administration and decided to close my interpreting practice and commit 100% to working as a business operations specialist. 

The birth of my second business is Amo Bookkeeping. 

In addition to being my childhood nickname, “Amo” means “I love.” And I love bookkeeping. Really!  I see my work as a bookkeeping professional as the perfect marriage of working closely with individuals while serving as a business ally.  Together, you can love your work as much as I love mine and we can make your business fly to new heights!
